Canita in LA WEEKLY

Canita was featured in this week in LA Weekly magazine. For those who don't know this magazine is the largest free paper in Los Angeles, owned by the same parent company as New York City's Village Voice. It's a necessary culture reference for everyone living in L.A. It has a great calendar section with everything that's going on in the city. These are pictures of the print version of the article. Kirsten DUNST has it!

The other night we were invited to The Strokes concert at Troubadour. A lot of celebrities showed up. Among them was one of my favourite actresses, Kirsten Dunst. I loved her last performace in "Elizabethtown" as well as her role in "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". After the show I approached Kirsten at the VIP room and I gave her one of the ties. She was very sweet and she said she really liked it. As I told her, for me is a pleasure that she can have one of my ties. She really has a unique style. I can't wait to she her in the next Sofia Coppola's movie "Marie Antoinette."

Erika CHRISTENSEN has it

These things happen when you have good friends in the right places. My friend Rosana is working in the production of the next Erika Christensen and Nick Stahl movie, "How to rob a bank". The other day, she gave Erika one of the ties. Rosana said that she loved it and that she is eager to wear it. For those who haven't seen it, I would recommend "Flightplan". Erika's performance is captivating and sweet.

ANI DIFRANCO joins the club

Today, world famous singer/songwriter Ani DiFranco bought two ties at Sweet Charity. Isn’t it cool? I've always admired her rebel spirit. As you can tell, she liked ties before.

REBEL Princesses # 12 & 13

Meet Raquel and Natalia. They live in Peralta (Navarra) and love fashion. Although we haven't seen many Rebel Princesses lately, it looks like there are still courageous girls out there. I love how the t-shirts look on them. Thank you for sending the picture!
